Truly a hidden gem in Atlanta. Similar to many other reviews, I've been to Yet Tuh before, right next door, but didn't know anything about this place until I saw it was recommended on the ATL Asian Eats facebook group. This no-frills restaurant has fast service, legit food, and plentiful banchan. 7 side dishes (!!) came with my tofu soup and the total for lunch with tip+tax was just 16 dollars - such a steal. Can't wait to come back.
Serendipity is how I happened to end up at this restaurant. A couple of my go to places were closed, one being next door to Dong Neh Bang Neh. It's as if the cosmos positioned me here to enjoy this lovely little place. This hidden joint is now one of my top 5 spots. The menu is rather extensive with many of the regular items I enjoy, but also loaded with some new food discoveries. I found it hard trying to decide where 8 wanted to start on the menu, with so many interesting options. The stews are out of this world good. I will head back here soon and update my review with more specifics. Please, do yourself a wonderful favor and try this gem .
This place is hidden gem and has great value Wanggalbi ugegi tang $16.99 comes with rice, and 7 dishes of sides pickle dishes. All were yummy. LA-galbi $24.99 The beef was awesome; comes with rice and veggie tofu soup Plenty of free parking and no lines
The food was delicious and came out quickly. This place is tucked waaay back in the parking lot, FYI. Service was good, they gladly replaced my noodles for rice cakes in the beef stir fry I chose. Side dishes included vegetable pancakes, sprouts, kimchi, etc. And at the end they served a sweet cool cinnamon drink that was a great finish!
I have had alot of Korean restaurants in the ATL area and I would say that this place is top 5. It's hidden, so it's kind of hard to find. The food is good though. It is very authentic and true to taste. I ordered the Gopchang Bokeum, which is pretty much spicy stir-fried intestines. It was delicious! The customer service is good too. I recommend trying this place out!
I can hardly remember if I’ve visited this restaurant before, which means it’s either been a very long time or this was my first visit, recommended by a group of friends from an association. Regardless, this humble neighborhood restaurant left a strong impression. Once popular in the heart of Doraville's old Koreatown, this spot carries a sense of nostalgia and is truly a hidden gem with a rich history. While it may not boast extravagant decor, the quality of the food speaks volumes. I particularly enjoyed the generous variety of side dishes (반찬), which were thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The highlight of my meal was the fresh grilled sole fish (서대구이), perfectly cooked and accompanied by a hearty bowl of bean paste stew (된장찌개), both proudly recommended by the friendly and welcoming owner. Her genuine hospitality and attentive service added warmth to the dining experience, and it was heartwarming to see some of my friends recognize her from previous visits. If you’re looking to experience authentic, homemade Korean cuisine in a modest yet charming setting that evokes memories of Korea's past, I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a rare gem that preserves the flavors and traditions of old Korea, and I’ll definitely be returning to savor more of its offerings.
Amazing food. It is one of the best Korean food on Buford hwy. I like it better than tofu house and other restaurants nearby.
Absolutely love this place. Food is always cooked fresh. Staff is friendly. And it is always delicious. So much so I ordered a 2nd order of my meal to go. If you want fresh, delicious Korean food with a staff that makes sure you're taken care of then come visit Dong Neh Bang Neh.
